Plan Spanish and English service pages around the buyer

A Colombian business serving domestic and overseas customers may need Spanish and English information. The page inventory should follow those audiences. A literal translation of every internal phrase can leave both versions unclear about what the business actually offers.

Start with the questions

List what each audience asks before making contact. A domestic buyer may need service coverage and an explanation of the first visit. An overseas buyer may ask about documentation, communication and handover. Keep confirmed company facts consistent while allowing the examples and level of explanation to differ.

Keep the language path visible

A language switch should lead to the corresponding page when one exists. If an English resource has no Spanish equivalent, label that honestly. Avoid sending readers back to the homepage every time they change languages; it makes them repeat their search.

Name the reviewer

Colombian Spanish needs someone who knows the terminology your customers use. That person should approve headings, form labels, confirmation messages and product names, not only the long body text. Professional or regulated claims need their relevant reviewer as well.

Prepare a small table of page purpose, primary audience, language and approver. Mark pages where the content can genuinely be shared and where a separate explanation is needed. Google's localized-version guidance explains the technical relationship between language versions; it cannot decide whether your copy is helpful. We can scope the writing and review workflow before development begins.
